Challenge's signature Afro House Event returns to Deus Ex Machina, Cape Town, a seven-hour journey through percussive Afro House, Afro Tech, and deep rhythmic storytelling from 7 PM to 2 AM.
At the heart of Challenge’s growing event calendar is Afro Sanctuary, his signature Afro House experience, returning to Deus Ex Machina on Friday 24 April 2026 at 7:00 PM. Created as a space for musical freedom and connection, Afro Sanctuary celebrates the sounds of Afro House, Afro Tech, and Deep House through a carefully curated lineup of DJs and artists who share Challenge’s vision for rhythmic storytelling.
Currently hosted on a monthly to bi-monthly basis, Afro Sanctuary is still young, but quickly earning its reputation as one of Cape Town’s most refreshing underground house events. Each edition brings a new theme, crowd, and energy, allowing Challenge to explore deeper sounds and connect with both familiar faces and new listeners.
